Work on the under body gusset by pinning it to one part of the
body and sewing into place. Repeat the same on the other half.
Fit in the soles and machine round. Always remove pins
immediately after a seam has been completed. The "skin" is now
ready and is inside out. Inspect the work for any gaps in the
sewing and correct if necessary. Cut a slit in the outer body gusset
as marked on Diagram 8 and turn the toy right side out. Be
careful not to tear the fabric round the opening. Turn slowly, by
pulling the head through first, then the front leg, finally the back
leg and the rest of the body. The "skin" is now right side out and
ready for stuffing.
