5 A drawing ready for enlarging.
Draw \" (2-5 cm) squares over the illustration. Decide
to what
extent you wish to enlarge. My suggestion is to make the
toy 6^
(16-5 cm) high from the base to the top of the head. This
means an
enlargement of slightly more than 100 per cent. Then draw
squares
each measuring 2^" (5-5 cm). Mark these squares with
letters on
the top and figures down the side. Transfer from your original
Diagram 5 the lines in squares A/3 working to A/2 further
on to
A/I and so on, till the whole drawing is completed. Some
workers
may find it easier to use more squares, i.e. ^' (1 cm)
instead of
\" (2-5 cm) for Diagram 5.
