Kids
Search Engines
Directory and/or filtering searching the internet for
kids.
These search services are provided for the needs of kids,
either through the use of selective content picked by
editors, or by filtering out inappropriate sites and pages
for kids. Human editing directories will typically include
less content available to the kids, but the likelyhood
of your child running into un-acceptable content is greatly
reduced. Filitered results can be quite good at keeping
out unwanted material, and do rearch more of the web,
but are more likely to let in the odd bit of undesirable
content.
