Pattern Preparation:
Use the Basic
Pants pattern, following the sweatpants
lines on the front section. Do not trace
the built-in pocket. Optional: Cut 2" off
the length of the pants to add a ribbed
cuff (see Ribbing Cutting Chart, page
11).
Cutting: Cut 2 fronts. Cut 2 backs.
Materials and Notions
17i yards of 45" wide fabric or
1 yard of 60" wide fabric
1" elastic to fit waist
Optional: 6" of ribbing
All seam allowances are 1 /4" unless
otherwise stated.
IWith right sides

fronts to the backs at
the inner and outer leg
