Weight of material
When using interfacing, choose a suitable weight
for the fabric you are working with. Iron-on
interfacing is easy to use, and eliminates tacking.
For binding the edges of a garment in a con-
trasting or co-ordinating fabric, choose material
the same weight as the main garment. This will
prevent the fabric from distorting when you make
it up and when you wash it.
