With the second method, the loop projects from the inner edge of a crossways binding edge. Again tack the loop in place on the edge of the main pattern piece (2a). Place the binding over it, tack and machine (2b). When the binding is turned to the wrong side and hemmed, the loop will project from the seam edge of the binding on the right side (2c). To make the loop lie flat. fold it across the binding and hand sew a few small stitches to hold it in place (2d).
