QUILTING
Use washable cotton wadding suitable for quilting,
and sandwich it between two layers of fabric. It
is important to keep the layers flat, and stretched
fairly taut. Tack quilting lines from the centre of
the pattern piece out to the edges, to avoid dis-
torting the fabric. Hand sew along the tacking
lines, pulling out the tacking as you go.
