Making loops
The pattern for all the loops mentioned throughout
the book is on page 59. They are cut on the cross
grain of the fabric.
To make each loop. first fold 5 mm (^ in) under
on the longer edges. Press. Fold the top edge
almost down to the lower edge. Pin, tack and
machine. Fold the stitched loop in half and place
one end across the other. Hand sew a few small
stitches to hold it in place. The finished loop is
now ready for positioning.
