This center disseminates information
on a variety of rural health issues including
health professions, health care financing,
special populations and the delivery of
health care services. It provides information,
referrals, publications, and brief complimentary
literature searches to professionals and
the public and posts rural health information
on the Internet. RICHS is funded by the
Federal Office of Rural Health Policy,
the Department of Health and Human Services
and is part of the United States Department
of Agriculture Rural Information Center,
which provides information on rural issues
such as economic development, and community
well-being.
