Making Bunk Beds
 

This design has been made both functional and attractive by use of pattern cutouts in head and foot uprights, which serve as ladders. Since most children love to climb, getting them to bed will be less of a chore.

(A) 1 pc. 1/2" x 3' x 6' Exterior plywood good two sides
(B) 1 pc. 1/2" x 4' x 6' Exterior plywood good two sides
(C) 1 pc. 1/2" x 4' x 7' Exterior plywood good two sides
(D) 1 pc. 2"x2"x 11' Bunk cleats
(E) 1 pc. 2" x 4" x 40' Bunk rails
(F) 4 pcs 1"x4" Corner braces
(G) 14 3/16" x 4" Carriage bolts and wing nuts
(H) 8 3/16" x 1" Stove bolts and wing nuts
(I) 4   Furniture glides
(J)   1 1/2" no.8 Flat head wood screws
       

Misc.: glue, wood filler, sandpaper, paint or stain.
