Size: 1 year old
Make pattern from graph. Cut fabric using pattern.
With right sides of fronts together, pin, sew and neaten centre
seam. Press to one side. Topstitch seam 5mm from seam line.
Repeat for back sections. With right sides of front and back
together, pin, sew and neaten side seams. Press seams to one
side. Topstitch seams 5mm in from seam line.
Pin, sew and neaten inside leg seams, matching centre front
and back seams at crotch. Press seam to one side and topstitch
5mm in from seam line.
Straps. Fold each strap along foldline with right sides
together. Pin and sew seam, leaving straight end open. Trim
seam, turn strap right-side out and press. Topstitch
5mm in from edge. Pocket. Press top edge of pocket seam allowance
over to right side then press 2.5cm over to right side to
form a band on pocket (reverse side of fabric will show; if
fabric is not reversible, cut a separate band
piece and attach to top of pocket).
